Dun & Bradstreet

Our Commitment to FTC Compliance

January 15, 2026

Dun & Bradstreet has reached a resolution with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) primarily regarding some inconsistencies related to our legacy systems that address pricing and dispute resolution for our small business customers.

We self-identified these through our compliance and ethics program. Upon discovery, we promptly notified the FTC and proactively worked with them throughout the review and settlement process. This resolution reflects that collaboration. As a result, we have strengthened our controls, training, and oversight to reinforce our long heritage as a trusted steward of commercial data.

While these inconsistencies were primarily uncovered through Dun & Bradstreet’s own compliance and ethics program, the settlement largely formalizes enhancements already underway— such as clearer pricing disclosures, an enhanced sales compliance process, improved recordkeeping, and stronger oversight mechanisms.

We take accountability seriously, and this resolution reflects both our commitment to transparency and our determination to continuously strengthen how we serve our clients. Should you have further questions, please contact us at [email protected].
