Lucas G. Black

Senior Vice President and Business Segment Leader for Sales & Marketing Solutions (S&MS) Data Solutions 

Lucas G. Black is a trusted executive with more than 20 years of experience building and integrating complex global systems, improving business processes, defining industry policies, and guiding data and digital strategies.

His career spans financial services, automotive, insurance, and digital marketing with a diverse portfolio of global brands and offerings. This breadth of experience has given Lucas a broad perspective on the MarTech industry and deep expertise in data, artificial intelligence, advertising operations, and advertising systems.

Lucas currently serves as Senior Vice President and Business Segment Leader for Sales & Marketing Solutions (S&MS) Data Solutions at Dun & Bradstreet. He leads efforts to evolve the company’s products and services to ensure customers’ data can be trusted, connected, and actionable, to unlock successful outcomes enterprise-wide.

Before joining Dun & Bradstreet, Lucas held senior roles at Integral Ad Science, and AOL (later, Oath).  At Integral Ad Science, he focused on improving customer satisfaction and streamlining processes related to the customer-facing user interface (UI), adding reporting and integrations to enhance usability.

During his tenure at AOL, Lucas served as Senior Director of Advertising Systems, where he led a team of product managers responsible for building AOL’s global advertising systems. His work included the development of a web-based order management system that processed approximately $9 billion in revenue. He also played a key role in the AOL-MSFT advertising deal, a ten-year agreement to manage ad sales and delivery for Microsoft’s properties in top global markets. He also represented AOL (Oath), on the Internet Advertising Bureau Publisher Ad Operation committee, setting standards and policies for the digital advertising industry.

Earlier in his career, Lucas held consulting roles at BearingPoint and Arthur Andersen, where he developed foundational expertise in business analysis and process reengineering. He earned a B.A. in Economics from Allegheny College and continues to expand his knowledge through ongoing professional development, including his recent 'AI For Everyone' certification from DeepLearning.AI.
