Kubo Tech AG produces and sells gaskets, seals and springs. It is part of the Kubo Group, which employs approximately 100 people at its Effretikon (ZH) facility. To its customers, Kubo Tech is a problem-solver as it supplies high-quality products quickly and also in smaller quantities.
Kubo Tech has approximately 20,000 customers and gains 500 new customers every year. They are all subject to a credit rating check by Dun & Bradstreet. This provides Kubo Tech with an insight into its customers’ financial situation.
If a customer’s rating is below a certain level, Kubo Tech delivers only on advance payment. The same applies to all foreign customers. As a result of the credit rating check, clear guidelines regarding the credit limits and a solid credit management process, Kubo Tech has virtually no accounts receivable losses. «With the credit rating checks by Dun & Bradstreet, we have our accounts under control and are able to cope with the area of conflict between customer-friendly payment terms and tight credit limits,»explains Michael Karrer, Managing Director of Kubo Tech AG.
