About HSBC and Dun & Bradstreet's Agreement

HSBC and Dun & Bradstreet have entered in to a multi-year global enterprise agreement for customer reference data.

The Wholesale CDAO team has undertaken a strategic project to ingest the full universe of Dun & Bradstreet Data (420 million companies) into GCP for internal consumption and referencing. In addition the agreement covers end user webtool solutions:

  • D&B Hoovers (Sales & Marketing use cases)
  • D&B Onboard (Compliance use cases)
  • D&B Credit (Credit Risk use cases)

Importantly, the Enterprise Agreement removes the inherent limitations of transactional contracts for using external data, and enables unlimited access of the webtools and data. The intention is for regions and lines of business to be able to actively use and consume Dun & Bradstreet data wherever it is required, with NO user limits and NO usage limits.

Standardising will ensure the bank removes duplication of business data around the globe and provide a consistency across the customer journey.
