Bobby Gupta is the Chief Analytics Officer at Dun & Bradstreet, the global leader in commercial data, analytics, and insights for businesses. In this role, Bobby is responsible for leading Dun & Bradstreet’s analytics team and further enhancing the company’s growth agenda.
Bobby brings over 32 years of industry experience and six years of academic experience in architecture and development of distributed software for large-scale systems and in leading large development.
Prior to Dun & Bradstreet, Bobby was Executive Director, Head of Predictive Analytics and Business Intelligence & Infrastructure, Wealth Management Technology, at Morgan Stanley. In this role, he was responsible for offensive and defensive analytics projects to protect and grow the business. Earlier, he served as the Director for the Front Office Client Trading Technology, where he developed the global strategy, architecture, and technology roadmap to build systems and services to support new prime brokerage and finance business.
Bobby has more than three decades of IT and analytics expertise in the financial services and investment sectors including with large financial institutions such as Barclays Capital, Lehman Brothers, Citi, and Merrill Lynch, as well as in academia and startup companies.
Bobby has a PhD in applied mathematics, an MS in computer science, and an MS in operations research from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He also earned an MSc in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) and a BSc in physics from Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, UP, India.
