Universal American Mortgage is a residential mortgage lender providing conventional, FHA-insured, and VA-guaranteed home loans primarily to buyers of homes built by its parent, Lennar Corporation. Universal American Mortgage and its sister financial services company Eagle Home Mortgage provide loans to about two-thirds of all Lennar homebuyers who received financing in areas of operation. Additionally, the company offers loans for existing homes as well as home equity lines of credit. It sells all the loans that it issues, along with their servicing rights, into the secondary market.
