North Memorial Health Care fights illness in the Twin Cities. Established in 1939 as Victory Hospital, the health care network is home to North Memorial Medical Center, a 520-bed hospital that features a Level I trauma center and the Humphrey Cancer Center. The hospital also operates specialty centers for cardiovascular care, orthopedics, pediatrics, and women's health, as well as an emergency vehicle fleet of more than 125 ambulances and nearly 10 helicopters. The adjacent outpatient center provides oncology, radiation, and imaging services. North Memorial Health Care also has a network of primary and specialty care clinics in the Twin Cities region, and it provides home health and hospice services.
