Prometheus Global Media (formerly e5 Global Media) wants to bring back the glory days of magazine publishing. The holding company formed in 2009 with financial backing from Pluribus Capital Management and Guggenheim Partners, and the two investment firms paid $70 million to buy eight industry-oriented publications from Nielsen Business Media.
