Eastman Kodak, the inventor of the Brownie camera, has put consumer photography in albums on a shelf to focus on imaging for businesses. The company generates more than two-thirds of sales from print systems and services for the book publishing, newspaper and magazine publishing, commercial printing, and packaging industries, among others. It makes presses and imprinting systems, as well as technology to print documents, publications, and product packaging. Kodak's other operations include hardware, software, consumables, and services related to printing and imaging for consumers and customers in a host of industries. The company, which generates most of its sales outside the US, was founded in 1880 by George Eastman.
