Jeffrey Hurwitz is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at D&B, a position he has held since March, 2007. He is also a member of the company’s Global Leadership Team.

Mr. Hurwitz joined D&B in September 2003 as Deputy General Counsel and assumed responsibility as lead counsel on the company's M&A and international partnership initiatives. Since joining D&B, Mr. Hurwitz took on increasing responsibility for running the day-to-day operations of the company's Legal Department. He has extensive experience in M&A, corporate governance and compliance and litigation management.

Prior to joining D&B, Mr. Hurwitz served as Corporate Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Covance, Inc. – a global drug development company, which he helped take public as part of the spin-off from Corning, Incorporated. Mr. Hurwitz was also of counsel at Hale and Dorr LLP.

Mr. Hurwitz holds a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany and a doctor of jurisprudence degree from the Boston University School of Law. He is also a trustee of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, North Jersey Chapter.
