The Executive Summary highlights key information to consider when assessing a business, helping you manage risk more easily. To jump to the section of the report containing more details on any element, click its name.
When available, these key elements will be highlighted in the summary:
D&B Predictive Scores:
- The D&B Commercial Credit Class, designed to predict whether this business will pay you slowly or at all.
- The D&B Financial Stress Class, designed to predict severe financial stress, such as a bankruptcy

Other Key Indicators:
- The D&B PAYDEX - D&B's unique dollar-weighted numerical indicator of how this business paid its bills over the past year, based on trade experiences reported to D&B by various vendors. The PAYDEX Score ranges from 1 to 100, with higher scores indicating better payment performance. In the summary, the actual days beyond terms are reported, with a link to more details on the PAYDEX and its trends.
- Industry Median -- Provides industry median payment patterns for businesses in the same industry, based on the 4-digit SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) code.
- Sales and Net Worth - Shown from the latest financial statement, if one is available. A comment such as "up" or "down" compares this statement to the previous statement.
- Operations - Alerts you to presence of information about the business's operations, such the number of accounts and geographic scope of the business. Details can be found in the Operations section.
- Present management control - When available, shows how long the business has been under control of the current principals or owners. Added details, if available, are shown in the History section of the report.
- UCC Filings - Alerts you to the presence of Uniform Commercial Code filings, A legal document creditors use to secure their rights to collateral specified in a secured financing agreement. Details can be found in the Public Filings section.
- Public Filings - Alerts you to the presence of suits, liens and/or judgments. Details can be found in the Public Filings section.
- History - May include any of the following designations:
- Clear -- Indicates that certain minimal information necessary for D&B rating consideration is contained in the report. It also means the report is free of negative information which could cause the selection of other History captions or designation as a potential higher-risk case.
- Incomplete -- Indicates that D&B's file does not contain sufficient information about the background of the business and its significant principals to fully assess risk.
- Management -- Indicates D&B's file contains certain unfavorable current or historical information on one or more significant principals associated with this company.
- Business - Indicates D&B's file contains certain unfavorable current or historical information on this company.
