Program Overview
The Graduate Leadership Program is designed to enable us to hire the future leaders of D&B and strengthens our Winning Culture. Our Winning Culture is a cornerstone of the Blueprint for Growth and drives everything we do. Everything you do as a D&B team member will be linked to this strategy and to transforming D&B into a high-performing growth company.
D&B's Graduate Leadership Program
The Graduate Leadership Program is designed to develop you into a future leader of our organization by providing you an opportunity to make significant contributions toward reaching D&B’s aspiration - becoming the most trusted source of commercial insight so our customers can decide with confidence.
We seek to attract accomplished MBA students from top-tier business schools. In 2010, we will be offering 1st year students summer internship opportunities in a variety of functional areas across the business with the prospect of full-time employment upon graduation.

A Focus On Leadership
D&B’s Winning Culture is founded on the principle that a company’s success is directly tied to the success of its people. By continually focusing on leadership development, we have increased both shareholder value and employee satisfaction. In addition to your full-time role, you will participate in ongoing training and development sessions and have access to tools which will continually improve your leadership skills.
Training and Development
You will begin your experience in The Graduate Leadership Program with an intensive orientation at D&B’s headquarters in Short Hills, NJ. During this time, you will learn about our key value proposition, corporate strategy, and Winning Culture. You will also engage with senior leaders across the business and participate in exciting team-building events with your peers.
Throughout your first year at D&B, you will also participate in leadership development sessions on topics including project management and communication skills.
Senior Executive Roundtables
In addition to your ongoing training and development, you will have the opportunity to meet with D&B’s Chairman and CEO as well as other members of our Global Leadership Team (senior executive team) through our monthly roundtables.
These roundtables are designed specifically for you and your peers to provide a forum to learn about our executives’ professional and personal experiences in achieving success in the corporate world.
Mentorship Program
As a member of D&B’s Graduate Leadership Program, you will be matched with a senior executive to help you navigate the organization. Our mentorship program is designed to provide you access to the knowledge and experience of seasoned professionals who take a personal interest in your career. Mentors are proven assets to help you gain clarity on your career aspirations, to expand your professional network, and simply to be close confidantes.
Action Learning Projects
In addition to your full-time role, you will also work to solve real business problems that are directly tied to our strategy. These specially designed Action Learning Projects have included developing a strategy to re-launch a product, creating a strategy to expand our internet business and identifying and evaluating potential acquisitions in the small business space. This experience not only increases your business knowledge, but further expands your network as you work closely with senior leaders across the business.
