Opt-Out Instructions

D&B provides two (2) methods by which you can control how data related to our site is collected - "Anonymous Visitor" and "Total Opt-Out". For your choice to be selected, you must first accept one of our cookies, which enables us to recognize you with a random and unique alphanumeric identifier so that we can honor your opt-out selection.

If you have your browser set to automatically accept cookies, proceed to the Opt-Out Selection Form.

If you set your browser to prompt you for permission to receive a cookie and have not already accepted a D&B cookie, please click "Refresh" and accept the cookie from this page when prompted. If you set your browser or cookie-blocking software so as to block the cookie, please change these settings, then click "Refresh" and accept the cookie from this page when prompted.

Next, select one of the opt-out choices from the Opt-Out Selection Form.

What Happens After You Select Your Opt-Out Option?

The cookie contains a random and unique alphanumeric identifier.

If you select the "Anonymous Visitor" option, your cookie will be modified to read "anonymous", meaning that D&B and its third-party contractor will continue to collect and have access to certain data about your experience at our web sites and such data will be presented in aggregate with other anonymous visitors.
If you select "Total Opt-Out", your cookie will be modified to read "opt-out", meaning that no data will be collected about you. We will, in such cases, record the fact that a "Total Opt-Out" election has been made, so that aggregated totals of "Total Opt-Out" elections can be calculated and recorded.

Once you make your selection, a dialog box will appear to confirm that your opt-out choice was successful. The opt-out will remain in effect for as long as the cookie remains on your hard drive. If you remove this cookie from your hard drive (for instance, if you reinstall or update your browser), you will need to renew your opt-out selection.

If you use more than one browser or computer, you will need to opt-out in each one. PLEASE NOTE that if you upgrade your browser to a new version you may need to opt-out again. For your convenience, you can check your current opt-out status at any time as described below. You also have the ability to change your opt-out status at any time.

Total Opt-Out	I understand that no data about my experience will be collected by D&B or its third-party contractor. I understand D&B and its third-party contractor will record the fact that a "Total Opt-Out" election has been made, so that aggregated totals of "Total Opt-Out" elections can be calculated and recorded.
